- Matilda is technically a super hero- Her magic powers that are put to use on her evil principal and parents make her the best little superhero of all time.
- Miss Trunchbull- The most terrifying principal of all time. The thrill she brings when she comes into the movie is incredible. The chokey and the Hammer throw are just two ways Miss Trunchbulls character makes for the best terrifying principal.
- Bruce Bogtrotter and the chocolate cake- The cake scene brings a rebellion that makes you want to jump in. “BRUCE, BRUCE, BRUCE”.
- The one liners- “No more Miss Nice girl!” “Your mommy is a twit!” are just the most memorable lines from the film.
- Independent- What other film makes you want to be an independent as Matilda? Her trips to the book store, and her urge to start school are just two small moments that shape her character.
- Miss Honey- Who doesn’t want Miss Honey as their teacher? The sweet Miss Honey was Matilda ray of sunshine. She turned her world around for the better.
- The soundtrack is the best !
